I shared this on my personal feed @angelpholmes this weekend and wanted to share it here if it helps you. My word of the year is believe! It is hard to say this, but I have let doubt and worry take over the last year or so, mainly because my career was in such flux. I have almost always had success at things I have done, but for some reason, this past year was challenging. Not that I did not have success, but I was doing too much. One of my 8 businesses (yes, I was doing 8 different things) was not working anymore, so I decided to stop. Others were too much for me to handle while trying to rebuild my marketing consulting business, so I had to give those up. I had to raise my rates, and that deterred people. I could go on and on with the ups and downs, but I did not give up, and I am more determined than before. That is why the word believe is what I need and will be my guiding light (along with God). I am not letting fear lead anything I do and instead will focus on the saying @joycemeyer always says that I love–“Something good is going to happen to me and through me today!” Amen! I am ready and here for it, and I hope this encourages you to do the same. What is your word, or what is the thing you are no longer living in for 2024? #guidinglight #marketingconsulting #oftheyear #doubt #career #success #consulting #believe
I can't wait to get my hands on the Ultimate Guide to Female Founders! It sounds like exactly the resource I've been needing since starting my business.
