Had this realization while scrolling yesterday (the irony isn’t lost on me).
I was looking at someone’s launch post thinking ‘wow, she’s got it all figured out’ when it hit me:
I was comparing my behind-the-scenes to her highlight reel. Again.
But here’s the plot twist – when I stopped looking at what everyone else was doing and started asking what I actually wanted to create?
They weren’t the same thing.
I’d been unconsciously building someone else’s version of success because their path looked shinier than my work-in-progress.
Comparison doesn’t just steal your joy. It steals your authenticity.
When you’re constantly measuring yourself against others, you lose touch with what actually lights YOU up.
You were created for a specific reason. With a specific combination of experiences, perspectives, and dreams that no one else has.
The women in The Brighter Side Society? They’ve stopped copying and started creating. Their own definitions of success. Their own timelines. Their own authentic paths.
It’s time to let YOUR light shine.
