Hi, I’m Angel Holmes—founder of The Brighter Side Society, where ambitious women find accountability, community, and systems that make success simple.
✨Stop doing business alone.

It’s Saturday morning as I’m writing this.
Quiet house. Notebook open.
And I’ve been thinking about something that I don’t hear talked about enough:
You can love Jesus deeply and still want to build something big.
You can be a woman entrepreneur, want revenue, want growth, want impact — and still live a faith led life.
For a long time, I felt tension around that.
Was I:
striving?
being too ambitious?
building… or forcing?
But I’ve come to believe something firmly:
A faith led life for women entrepreneurs isn’t about shrinking your ambition.
It’s about anchoring it.

If you’re a female entrepreneur of faith, you probably know this internal conversation:
“I trust God… but I also want growth.”
“I want peace… but I also want momentum.”
“I don’t want to chase money… but I do want to make money.”
And sometimes we quietly feel guilty for wanting both.
But Proverbs 16:3 says:
“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”
Your work. Not just your worship. That verse changed the way I see business.
God isn’t offended by your plans.
He just wants to be invited into them.
We love the phrase faith over fear.
But if I’m honest?
Sometimes the bigger issue for women entrepreneurs isn’t fear.
It’s overcommitment.
We say yes.
We give discounts.
We overdeliver.
We fill our calendar.
We help everyone.
And then we’re exhausted.
2 Timothy 1:7 says:
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.”
A sound mind is not chaotic and has clarity.
Joyce Meyer talks often about doing things on purpose — not emotionally, not reactively. That has shaped me more than I can explain.
Peace isn’t something you earn after burnout. It’s something you protect.

“Walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7
Yes.
But walking by faith does not mean you avoid planning.
I’ve learned the hard way that when my week has no structure:
That is not spiritual.
That’s disorganized.
Ephesians 5:15–16 says:
“Be very careful, then, how you live… making the most of every opportunity.”
Structure is stewardship.
And stewardship is spiritual.
One thing Terry Foy talks about that resonates deeply with me is identity.
When you know who you are and whose you are, you stop proving.
You stop hustling for worth.
And when you stop proving, you can plan clearly.
A faith led life for women entrepreneurs is not frantic.
It’s intentional.
You can:
And still be obedient.
The Proverbs 31 woman was buying land.
Trading goods.
Managing operations.
Expanding influence.
She was strategic.
Colossians 3:23 says:
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.”
That includes your business.
Ambition isn’t the problem.
Misalignment is.
If you’re building a faith led life as a woman entrepreneur, here are a few resources that have shaped me:

📘 The Bible (start with Proverbs, Colossians, Ephesians for business wisdom)
These aren’t business strategy books.
They’re alignment books.
And alignment changes everything.
Here’s what I’ve learned:
If I don’t block revenue time, I give too much away.
A faith led life for women entrepreneurs requires rhythm.
It requires knowing how you naturally work.
Because not every female entrepreneur builds the same way.
That’s why I created the Brighter Flow Assessment.
Not as another productivity tool.
But as a clarity tool.
When you understand your natural style, you can design a week that supports:
👉 Take the free assessment here.
Don’t have to shrink your dreams to honor God.
You don’t have to abandon structure to walk by faith.
You can build boldly, plan intentionally, and protect your peace.
A faith led life for women entrepreneurs isn’t passive.
It’s powerful.
And it’s built week by week.
