The first step to making your dreams come true is to write them down. Still not sure what they are? Then take some time to meditate and/or pray. What is that thing that makes you tick? What are you most excited to do? What has been the thing you have had as a bucket list to always do? Once you have it written, it's time to start making a plan. You have probably heard it all before about setting and having goals but still so many people don't have or set them! Why is that? If you do not have a road map, you will have no place to go and it is key to set your sites on something.
It is important to have SMART goals: Specific, Measurable, Action-Oriented, Realistic, Time Bound, and Michael Hyatt added a little more to it--Exciting and Relevant. Set them in three key areas:

One of my favorite things to do every year is to make a Vision Board for the year. It is also a great thing to do with your husband and kids. They are fun and a great item to hang up and remind you of all the things you want out of this life!
Before creating your Board take the time to think about goals for the following areas and then find photos, quotes, or images that represent what you come up with for your vision:
Relationships
Career and finances
Home
Travel
Personal growth (including spirituality, social life, education)
Health

This is the tough love post but if you want any of your dreams to come true you have to stop waiting for someone else to make them happen. You need to buckle up, set the plan in motion, and do the work. It will be tough, it will be frustrating, and it will be scary but at the end of it all, it will be the greatest thing you have ever done in your life (minus maybe getting married or giving birth—those two are also pretty amazing but they were also dreams that you worked hard at right?). So take it from Mel Robbins (and if you haven’t read her books or watched anything by her, do so pronto) and do these things to the left (scroll through) to get it done! If you don’t it probably will never happen.

If there is one thing you will hear us say over and over it is this--Do Not Give Up! It's so easy to quit but if you do, everything you have worked for is gone. We are not just talking about your business or outside things. We are also talking about YOU! Do not give up on YOU! Do not let anyone tell you (including yourself) that you are not good enough, that you are junk, that you are anything other than the precious person God intended you to be. He made you so special and important. And if you give up on that, you give up on everything.
