Does anyone else on occasion tend to say things they wish they had not? Just this morning I cussed in front of one of my kids because they did not do something I asked them to do. I immediately regretted it — mostly because I am always on them for cussing when they should not. And here I go doing it myself and to them. Catching myself, I apologized and realized what I had done. And that is all we can do. Catch it when we say something we regret and do our best not to do it again. But it does go a lot deeper than all of that. We need to look at what we say to ourselves, if and when we gossip or talk bad about someone else or something we do not like. It is so many little things over time, and if we are not careful, our mouth can ruin our lives. So when I found this book by Joyce Meyer–Me and My Big Mouth, I felt the need to read it. It has been tough to be called out by a book on ways I need to watch my tongue and my actions, but it has been much needed which is why I am sharing it today as my Devotional of the Week. If you feel the need to work on this area of your life, you may want to grab a copy as well.👄 #littlethings #dosomething #needto #callout #joycemeyer #bigmouth #morningmessage #apologize
